Nieve's Foot Tapping

Keep an eye on that right foot...

When Nieve is in her booster seat during meal time, she unfailingly ends up tapping out a rhythm with her right foot on the chair's center post. It's funny to watch and almost certainly a soothing mechanism for her, but Mom and I are becoming concerned that she'll end up with a monster callous on her heel.

I'm sorry to say that Nieve probably inherited the foot-tapping from me (Grandpa Roger). As for the callous on her foot, look at it as a positive: She'll be able to kick as. without hurting herself-especially since it's her right leg!

I foresee a bad A drummer in an Indie Rock Band. Might I suggest a tongue stud for her first birthday? Go Nieve!!!

PS - Ronan's voice in the background cracks me up. "you can be escused, Nieve..... you can be escused"

CalBadger- if her first few months are any indication your prediction of Nieve 'forcefully asserting herself' seems likely.

No piercings or tattoos until the kids turn 18. After that, they are free to do as they wish!
